Officials at Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Norfolk, Virginia, have temporarily suspended operations in the terminal on the afternoon of Jan. 5. The decision comes after a private aircraft suffered a landing gear collapse when landing at ORF. Officials have been working to remove the aircraft from the runway.

Several flights have been diverted to other airports. Additional flights are likely to be delayed, canceled, or diverted in the coming hours. Disruptions are possible through Jan. 6.

Reconfirm flights if traveling via ORF. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed.
