Genevieve Labuschagne - Intelligence Analyst I

Genevieve is an intelligence analyst for Crisis24’s Asia-Pacific region engaging in threat monitoring, civil unrest and security, geopolitics, and socio-economic analysis to produce client-focused insights. She doubled majored in Political Sciences and Psychology, with a minor in Political Sociology before undertaking an Honors in Political Sciences. Genevieve has recently completed her Master’s (Political Sciences) at Stellenbosch University. Her prior work experience includes protection intelligence, threat awareness, OSINT, cybersecurity as well as South African domestic and foreign policy. As of 2025, she will be undertaking a degree in Criminology and Forensic Psychology to extend her expertise in security, threat analysis and civil unrest. Her vast interests lie in conflict studies, crime, global political economy, and geopolitics.
