Doctors to stage walkout in Athens and Piraeus; Athens bus system to face disruptions June 13

Hospitals across Athens and Piraeus will face a shortage of doctors on Tuesday, June 13, as they walk off the job from 11:00 (local time) until the end of the day to protest staff shortages. A related demonstration will be held in Athens at noon in front of the Health Ministry.

On a separate note, public transportation in Athens will face disruptions as buses and trolley buses will be suspended from 11:00 to 17:00.
