At least one suicide body-borne improvised explosive device (BBIED) has reportedly detonated in the vicinity of a Shia mosque in PD2 (police district 2) in Herat (Herat province) on Sunday, March 25, as guards stopped them from entering. According to authorities, at least one person has been killed and seven others injured. Islamic State (IS) have claimed responsibility for the attack.
