Political groups call for anti-government protests August 10, 14, 17, 22, and 29; violence possible

Various social and political groups have called for a series of anti-governmental protests to take place on August 10, 14, 17, 22, and 29. Demonstrations are possible throughout the country on these dates, although the largest gatherings will most certainly be held in the capital Port-au-Prince. All protests in Haiti, even smaller ones, have the potential to disrupt daily life as they often involve roadblocks and/or violence.
Context
The protests are being held to demand the resignation of President Jovenel Moïse, the liberation of people arrested during violent unrest that broke out July 6-8, and the arrest of individuals implicated in the Pétro Caribe corruption scandal.
Flashpoints for protests in Port-au-Prince include: the Saint Jean Bosco church/Bel Air neighborhood, Carrefour Péan (intersection), the Champs de Mars/presidential palace area, the Cité Soleil neighborhood, the headquarters of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), the Pétionville suburb, and on the following roads: Avenue Pan Américaine (101), Route de Freres, and Route de Delmas.
