Tunisia: National rail strike postponed to September 6 /update 2

Workers at the national rail operator SNCFT are planning to hold a nationwide strike on Thursday, September 6. The strike was initially scheduled for August 16 but was postponed due to the opening of negotiations between the Tunisian General Union of Labour (UGTT) and SNCFT officials. If the work stoppage is held, nationwide rail disruptions are to be expected.
