Unions call for a strike on the London Tube’s Piccadilly line on September 26-29

Warning

Event

Unions representing workers on the London Tube have called for a strike to be held on the Piccadilly line from Wednesday, September 26, to Saturday, September 29. According to the Rail, Maritime, and Transportation (RMT) union, the strike is being organized to demand the implementation of policies promised by transportation officials. The strike is expected to begin at 13:00 on September 26, and will last until 15:30 on September 29. All other Transport for London (TfL) services will be running as normal, but services on the other lines will likely be busier than usual for the duration of the strike.

Advice

Travelers are advised to monitor the situation, to plan alternate routes, and to allow for extra time to reach their destinations for the duration of the strike.
