UK: Rail disruptions on Greater Anglia network due to accident Sep. 24

Severe disruptions are being reported on the Greater Anglia rail network as of the afternoon (local time) of Monday, September 24. According to transportation officials, a person was hit by a train between Goodmayes and Romford stations. As of 18:00, rail operations have resumed; nevertheless, delays are expected between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, Southend Victoria, Braintree, Colchester, Ipswich, and Norwich, until at least 20:00.
