France: Protests over academic fees December 1

Unef, a student union, has called for protests to take place in France on Saturday, December 1, to denounce the increase of academic registration fees for non-EU students. Demonstrations are possible in Paris, notably in front of La Sorbonne University, as well as in other urban centers. Associated road traffic disruptions can be expected.

As a reminder, protests associated with the "yellow vest" movement are also set to take place across the country on December 1.
