France: Road transport workers to strike from December 9

Road transport workers to hold an indefinite strike from December 9; associated transportation disruptions expected

The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) and National Transport and Logistics Union (FO) have called on road transport workers - including ambulance drivers, lorry drivers, among others - to hold an indefinite and nationwide strike from 22:00 (local time) on Sunday, December 9. Transportation disruptions can be expected throughout the country; associated protests are also possible in major urban areas. 

As a reminder, significant disruptions and unrest are possible in Paris on December 8 due to planned protests organized by the "yellow vest" movement.
