Jordan: Further engineer and agricultural engineer protest in Amman Dec. 24

Engineers and agricultural engineers will stage another sit-in protest in front of the Ministry of Education building in Amman on Monday, December 24. Protesters are expected to gather at 12:00 (local time). While the protest is expected to pass off peacefully, localized disruptions are possible.

Context

Members of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) and the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) have been on strike every Monday and Tuesday since December 3 to demand equal working conditions with other recruited engineers.
