The CVCI (Collectif des Victimes de la Côte d'Ivoire) civil society group called for a protest to take place in front of the National Commission of Human Rights (CNDHCI) building in Abidjan on Monday, January 14, to denounce the potential provisional release of former president Laurent Gbagbo. A heightened security presence, along with associated traffic disruptions, are likely in the vicinity of the demonstration.
