Kenya: Kisumu Airport to partially close March 18-28
Authorities limit operations at Kisumu International Airport (KIS) from March 18-28 for maintenance; confirm flight reservations

Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) announced on Friday, March 15, that Kisumu International Airport (KIS) will operate on a reduced schedule for runway maintenance from Monday, March 18, through Thursday, March 28. KIS will be closed all of Tuesday, March 19, and will only operate flights from 06:30 to 19:00 (local time) during the repair period. Kenya Airways warned that it will only fly smaller aircraft into KIS due to the shortened runway and has advised travelers to confirm their reservations.
