Switzerland is forecast to experience high temperatures beginning Monday, July 1, and ending on Tuesday, July 2. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach over 35°C (95°F) and overnight temperatures at about 20°C (68°F) in parts of the country.

Advice

Individuals in Switzerland are advised to monitor local weather reports, avoid strenuous activities or spending time outdoors, particularly during midday, wear loose-fitting clothing, drink plenty of water and avoid dehydrating liquids, such as alcoholic, sugary, or caffeinated drinks, and seek immediate medical attention if exhibiting symptoms of heat stroke, such as nausea, confusion, headache, rapid and strong pulse, and dry skin.
