Flights disruptions are to be anticipated at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) after an Electra Airways flight from Cologne (Germany) conducted an emergency landing at the airport on Monday, July 1. Authorities temporarily halted flights and deployed dozens of ambulances and fire fighting vehicles to TLV after the Electra airplane reportedly lost a tire on its rear landing gear after takeoff.  According to emerging reports, the flight made a successful landing at approximately 16:20 (local time); there were no immediate reports of injuries.

Lingering delays are to be expected at TLV over the coming hours.
