Affected roads include Juan Pablo II in San Salvador, parts of Los Chorros leading into San Salvador, kilometer 5 of the Carrera Acajutla in Acajutla, the deviation of Amayo and Colima bridge in the Chalatenango department, Golden Bridge in San Nicolas Lempa and Cuscatlán Bridge in San Salvador, the road to San Óscar Romero Airport (SAL), the Troncal del Norte highway and entrances to San Miguel and Usulután.
Protests are also expected at the Legislative Assembly building in San Salvador, where surrounding roads are likely to be closed by protesters.
A heightened security presence and significant transportation disruptions are expected in the aforementioned areas and in the vicinity of any protests.
