A vehicle carrying roadside bombs and explosive materials detonated on Tuesday, October 29, killing 17 people and injuring 14 others, in the Bazarak Jangal Aregh village (Jowzjan province). The incident took place at around 14:30 (local time). Among the casualties are 15 Taliban militants and another seven injured. According to authorities, the vehicle was traveling from Chahar Bolak district (Balkh province) to Mardian district (Jowzjan province) before it detonated. Taliban have not immediately commented on the incident.
