Nationwide earthquake and tsunami drill to be held on November 14; transportation and business disruptions likely

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) announced on Tuesday, November 5, that a simultaneous earthquake and tsunami drill will be conducted nationwide on Thursday, November 14. The drill is expected to begin at around 16:00 (local time). Directions to designated evacuation zones will be issued by local authorities.
Transportation and business disruptions are likely during the exercise.
