Authorities at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (TSE) announced at approximately 10:45 (local time) on Monday, January 27, that the airport is closed until at least 14:00 due to inclement weather. They also confirmed that 41 flights have been delayed, and a further 11 canceled. According to TSE officials, wind speed is at 72 kph (45 mph) with gusts between 86-97 kph (54-60 mph).

Further flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations are possible at TSE in the coming hours.
