Landslides and flooding caused by heavy rains have been reported on Thursday, February 20, across Sumatra, Java, and Kalimantan, ongoing since the week prior. According to authorities, one person has died and several others have been wounded or reported missing. Flooding has affected thousands of properties and caused severe transportation disruptions.

Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds are forecast over Sumatra, Java, and northern Borneo for Friday, February 21. Associated transportation disruptions are therefore expected to continue.
