Afghanistan: Imminent threat reported in Kabul March 20

According to local sources, anti-government militants are planning to launch a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) attack or a suicide attack against a hotel located in Kabul's Wazir Akbar Khan district. Separately, the same source indicates that there is an increased risk of hostile militants kidnapping foreign citizens in Afghanistan.
