Several NGOs representing self-employed Israelis have called for an anti-government demonstration in Tel Aviv on Saturday, July 11, to protest against the lack of a social safety net for workers, as well as the current delay in the promised government funds. Thousands of people are expected to gather at 18:00 (local time) at Rabin Square to attend the demonstration.

Further protests are possible in the coming days. Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are expected around any demonstration site.
