Multiple civil society groups plan to demonstrate in downtown Port-au-Prince Dec. 10 to commemorate International Human Rights Day and denounce insecurity and corruption in Haiti. Unconfirmed reports suggest demonstrations will focus on Plaza Constitution de 1801 Champs de Mar. Hundreds of people are likely to attend associated events.
Police will almost certainly deploy near all protests. All anti-government protests in Haiti carry an elevated threat of clashes. Protesters could attempt to block roads.
