Local reports indicate a third explosion has occurred in Kabul the morning of Feb. 20. A magnetic improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a police vehicle exploded in Dehbori, Police District (PD) 3; initial reports indicate at least two fatalities. The blast follows two earlier bombings in the city; an improvised explosive device targeting a vehicle exploded along Darulaman Road in PD 3, resulting in two injuries. Another explosion in the Karte Parwan area of PD 2 killed at least three people. No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
