The embassy has indicated that it has received reports that groups are calling for gatherings against the upcoming constitutional referendum and against kidnapping in the country. The embassy alert noted that impacted areas may include the downtown area, Champs de Mars, Carrefour Aeroport, Nazon, Lalue, Bourdon, Juvenat, Delmas, and Petionville.
