Several hundred activists are demonstrating in Rock Hill, South Carolina, as of late June 23 following alleged use of force and the arrest of two African-American individuals by the police. Protesters reportedly marched through the downtown area, blocked the Dave Lyle Boulevard and Black Street intersection, and congregated at Rock Hill Police Station.

Authorities will almost certainly deploy an increased police presence to monitor the events. Localized transport disruptions are likely through the morning of June 24. Clashes between protesters and officers are possible.

Rock Hill is approximately 36 km (22 miles) south-southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina.
