Warning

Event

Authorities in Georgia are modifying COVID-19-related international travel restrictions. As of March 3, fully vaccinated travelers entering by land or sea will no longer need to submit a negative result from a PCR test. In addition, all non-vaccinated travelers will be allowed to enter the country by presenting a negative PCR test result taken within the 72 hours prior to arrival.

Domestic Measures
Most businesses and services are permitted to operate subject to certain requirements. Facemasks are mandatory in enclosed public spaces and some outdoor public areas.

International Travel Restrictions
All travelers above the age of nine may enter the country by producing proof of having received a full course of any COVID-19 vaccine. Alternatively, individuals may enter by presenting proof of having tested positive for COVID-19 within the 100 days before arrival and having received one dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before arrival. Travelers may also enter by presenting a negative result from a PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
