As of March 17, officials have halted flight operations and suspended terminals at Aktobe International Airport (AKX) in Aktobe through at least March 27 for runway repairs. However, officials at SCAT Airlines (DV), one of the primary airlines that services AKX, stated they canceled all flights to the facility through March 31.
Lingering disruptions are probable after normal operations resume as airline staff work to clear backlogs.
