The Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas has announced that electricity cuts will occur in parts of Monastir and Sousse governorates 08:00-14:00 April 3 for maintenance works. Affected areas include Sahloul 4, Montazah Sahloul, Ibn Khaldoun, Msaken Chaabia, Ibn Salem, Kisba, and Messadine station in Sousse and the city of Masdour and its industrial zone in Monastir. Residents may experience lingering disruptions through the evening of April 3.
Temporary commercial and communications disruptions, including cellular services, are possible during power outages. Traffic disruptions may occur in some areas due to malfunctioning traffic signals. Trains may also experience delays if outages impact signaling devices or overhead wires.
