Ecuador: Students protest in Quito April 27

Students in Quito are marching towards the Ministry of Education April 27. The students gathered earlier outside Colegio Luis Napoleon Dillon and are marching along Avenida Eloy Alfaro to reach the ministry building. The protesters are demanding justice for a student who was sexually abused.

Heightened security is likely around the protest. Associated transport disruptions between Dillon College and the Ministry of Education are also likely.
