Mexico: Protests planned in Mexico City June 10

Various activist groups will stage demonstrations for a variety of reasons in Mexico City June 10. Locations and times of gatherings are as follows.
12:00: Activists to gather at the intersection of Calle Manuel Carpio and Calle Plan de Ayala, Azcapotzalco Borough.
12:00-18:00: Activists to gather on Calle Periferico Sur y C. Zapoteca, Tlalpan Borough.
14:30: Activists to gather on Avenida Guadalupe I. Ramirez 4 , Xochimilco Borough.
15:00 and 16:00: Activists to gather for a march at the intersection of Calzada Mexico-Tacuba and Avenida de los Maestros, Miguel Hidalgo. Activists will then march to the intersection of Calle Manuel Carpio and Calle Plan de Ayala, Azcapotzalco Borough and Avenida Plaza de la Constitucion, Cuauhtemoc Borough. Affected routes will include Avenida Ribera de San Cosme, Avenida Mexico-Tenochtitlan, Calle Rosales, Avenida Juarez, Calle Dolores, Articulo 123, and Venustiano Carranza Borough.
16:00: Activists to gather for a march on Calle Manuel Carpio in Azcapotzalco Borough and march towards the Centro Historico/Zocalo. Protesters will take the same route as those departing from the Miguel Hidalgo borough.
Heightened security is likely around demonstration sites. Localized transport and business disruptions are likely in rally-affected areas. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out, especially if security forces attempt to forcibly disperse crowds.

Avoid all demonstrations as a precaution. Allow additional time to reach destinations near rally locations; consider taking alternative routes to circumvent any related disruptions. Do not attempt to drive through any protester-erected roadblocks; wait for the police to dismantle them. If violence occurs, immediately leave the area and seek shelter in a secure, nongovernmental building. Heed the instructions of security personnel.
