Officials in Antigua and Barbuda ease their COVID-19-related restrictions as of Aug. 29.
Event
As of Aug. 29, authorities in Antigua and Barbuda have eased COVID-19-related entry requirements and domestic measures. Officials have removed all COVID-19-related restrictions for those arriving by air. Travelers are not required to provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests prior to arrival. Travelers may still be required to undertake further testing at their own expense. Authorities may still require those with symptoms of COVID-19 to isolate. Travelers arriving by private boat or ferry are subject to the regulations of their cruise line.
Individuals are still advised, but not required, to wear facemasks in crowded public spaces. Private businesses are permitted to maintain their own protocols.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, ease, or otherwise amend restrictions with little-to-no notice, depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
