Authorities are easing COVID-19 domestic and international restrictions as of Oct. 5.

Domestic Measures

• Businesses are allowed to operate with health protocols in place.

• Facemasks are required in indoor public areas, including on public transport.

International Measures

• Borders have reopened as land and air travel have resumed regular operations with some restrictions.

• All travelers are required to complete a Travel Registration Form (FRV) 72 hours prior to entering or leaving (click here)

• All travelers entering the country require a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. Air passengers are subject to a rapid COVID-19 test immediately on disembarkation.

• All travelers arriving at Luanda's Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport (LAD) must take a free, RAT test upon arrival prior to being granted entry into the country.

• Non-vaccinated international arrivals may be required to home quarantine for at least seven days. They can leave quarantine after receiving a discharge certificate from the health authorities which is provided after a negative antigen test.

Authorities may amend existing regulations or introduce new restrictions with little notice depending on disease activity in the coming weeks.
