Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana State, Nov. 12. Modi will arrive at Begumpet Airport (BPM) at around 12:00, hold a meeting with his party functionaries, and then visit the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited factory before addressing farmers in the Ramagundam Industrial Area. Hundreds of people are likely to join each event. Various groups - including the Communist Party of India (CPI) and unionized employees of Singareni Collieries opposed to privatization, as well as unionized university students and electricity workers - have called for statewide protests over their grievances with the central government. Demonstrations will also occur to demand reservation for the Madiga community. Dozens of activists may rally at popular protest sites like public squares and major intersections, with the highest participation likely in urban centers and venues visited by Prime Minister Modi. Significant disruptions or violence are unlikely.

A heightened security deployment and traffic restrictions are certain at event venues and along routes used by Prime Minister Modi. Officials may reroute or curtail public transport serving the affected areas. Commercial disruptions are possible due to the closure of local businesses and/or employees' difficulties to reach workplaces.
