Attack kills one person and injures another at a Hezb-e-Islami party office mosque in the Darulaman area of Kabul, Afghanistan, Dec. 2.

Two unidentified suicide bombers attacked the Hezb-e-Islami party office mosque in Kabul's Darulaman area Dec. 2. The attackers reportedly targeted Hezb-e-Islami party founder and leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar during Friday afternoon Islamic prayers. While precise casualty figures remain unavailable, at least one person was killed and one other injured. Both assailants were also killed. No group has claimed immediate responsibility for the attack.
Residual transport disruptions are possible near the scene of the explosion over the coming hours.
