Jordan: Activists and unions to march in Amman, Dec. 15
Unions plan to march toward the Fourth Circle in Amman, Jordan, from 12:30 Dec. 15.

The Jordanian Federation of Independent Trade Unions plans to march in Amman, Dec. 15. Organizers have announced that participants will gather in front of the National Center for Human Rights at 12:30 and then march toward the Fourth Circle. The purpose of the action is to support the strike of transportation workers that started on Dec. 11; transport workers are protesting against low wages and an increase in gas prices. Hundreds of individuals could attend the Dec. 15 event.
