Protesters have reportedly gathered to denounce the hosting of refugees in a nearby asylum center. Protest activity is causing transport disruptions along several thoroughfares in the city, including East Wall Road. The Dublin Port Tunnel is closed to southbound traffic; moreover, Wexford Bus route 740 serving Northwall Quay is disrupted.
