Cross-border freight shipments via the Hairatan dry port in Afghanistan's Balkh Province have resumed as of Feb. 11. Operations reportedly restarted following successful negotiations between Uzbek and Afghan officials. Minor, residual disruptions are possible as rail authorities work to normalize operations.

The Hairatan dry port is located approximately 63 km (39 miles) northeast of Mazar-e-Sharif.
