India: Civil servants to protest in front of Parliament in Delhi March 14

Members of the All India State Government Employees Federation plan to demonstrate in front of Parliament in Delhi, March 14 to call for the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme, among other demands. Organizers have yet to publicize the start time of the event, which could attract dozens to hundreds of participants.

Authorities will almost certainly increase security in and around the protest site. While the event is likely to pass off peacefully, heightened security measures may lead to some localized transport disruptions.
