The death toll has increases follwing an earlier bomb explosion Shaara Iqbal Road, near Khandari Bazar, in Quetta, April 10. The blast, reportedly due to an improvised explosive device placed on a motorcycle, targeted a security force position, killing four people and injuring at least eight more. The death toll may rise further in the coming hours. There have bene no claims of responsibility for the attack.

Heightened security measures are likely near the blast site in the coming hours. Localized ground travel delays are also likely in the area. Further attacks are likely.
