Russia’s invasion of Ukraine had halted construction on what was to be the largest wind power plant in the Mykolaiv region of southern Ukraine, 250 miles from Kyiv and just six miles from the Black Sea.
Company executives at the global energy company realized that while a comprehensive risk mitigation plan was central to its ability to move forward with the construction and mitigate the loss of revenue due to the temporary shutdown, it lacked the internal resources to deliver the plan.
