About the Speakers
W. Michael Susong is Senior Vice President of Global Risk Intelligence, responsible for delivering Crisis24’s intelligence portfolio, risk intelligence analysis, and consultancy to some of the world's largest, most complex organizations. He joined Crisis24 in 2017 and holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, D.C. Before joining Crisis24, Michael was a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operations officer and was awarded the CIA’s Intelligence Star for Heroism in the field. While serving in the US Army, Major Susong completed multiple combat tours around the globe. In the private sector, he cofounded the cyber intelligence company iSIGHT Partners, which FireEye acquired. He established the first cyber threat intelligence programs at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Visa Incorporated. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM™), a Certified Protection Professional (CPP™), a Wilderness First Responder, and a Black Rock Ranger.
Jonathon Keymer is a London-based Director of Global Risk Intelligence responsible for watch operations and category intelligence. He joined Crisis24 in 2015 and was previously the head of the Europe and Central Asia analyst team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, London University, and a master’s degree in Arms Proliferation and International Security from Kings College, London University. Jonathon has 12 years of experience in security intelligence.
Sumedha Senanayake is a US-based Director of Global Risk Intelligence responsible for regional intelligence teams across four North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He joined Crisis24 in 2008 and holds a master’s degree in Arab Studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College. Before joining Crisis24, he worked as an analyst as a researcher/writer focused on Islamic extremism in the Middle East, conflict analysis, and the impact of US foreign policy in the region. Sumedha was on the ground in Sri Lanka, performing research and fieldwork during the final years of the civil war.
