Nationwide COVID-19 related demonstrations scheduled on November 22



Nationwide demonstrations are scheduled to take place throughout urban centers of Germany on Sunday, November 22. The demonstrations have been organized by the Querdenken movement (Lateral Thinking movement) and are being held to protest over coronavirus disease (COVID-19) related restrictions in the country. Specific locations of the events have not been released. 

A heightened security presence and localized transport disruptions are likely in the vicinity of any demonstration.
