Jordan: Protest planned in Amman February 4

Journalist association calls for protest in Amman to reject Trump peace plan February 4; associated transportation disruptions expected

The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate has called for a protest in Amman on Tuesday, February 4, to denounce US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan, which was announced the week prior. Participants are expected to gather at the Association's headquarters on al-Dahk Ben Youssef Street, near al-Waha Circle. Although the meeting time was not immediately available, the gathering will likely take place in the early afternoon (local time).

Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest, as well as the possibility of a heightened security presence.
