France: Traffic disruptions near Toulouse-Blagnac Airport until July 7

Event

Due to ongoing nightly road work on the route connecting Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) and Toulouse’s A624 belt highway (ring road), disruptions are expected through at least July 7. During this period, the speed limit will be reduced to 70 km/h (44 mph) during the day on some parts of the A624 and A621 highways. The road work could lead to an increase in travel time as well as traffic jams.

Context

Modernization work on the highway started on June 6 and is set to finish on July 7. However adverse weather conditions could delay the completion of the construction work until July 13.

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach their destinations, particularly when traveling to the airport.
