Italy: Wildfires near Rome

Fires in southern Italy are raging once again after a strong heatwave, dubbed “Lucifer” hit southern Europe over the weekend, August 5-6. France announced it will be sending two firefighting aircraft to help efforts on the ground near Rome as of Monday, August 7.
