Public transit workers to launch four hour strike in Rome on September 29; bus and rail services to experience disruptions

Workers from transport companies ATAC and Roma Tpl will strike for four hours in Rome on Friday, September 29, from 08:30 to 12:30 (local time).

As such, delays and cancelations affecting the metro, bus, tram, and certain suburban rail lines - notably the lines Roma-Lido, Roma-Viterbo and Termini-Centocelle lines - are expected throughout the capital during this period. Residual disruptions may also occur in the ensuing hours. Increased congestion on the roads is also possible.
