France: Train links to Orly Airport to be disrupted Nov. 1-5

Two train services linking Paris with Orly International Airport (RER B and Orlyval) to be disrupted November 1-5

Warning

Event

The rail services connecting Orly International Airport (ORY) with central Paris will be disrupted in early November. All traffic along the RER B line between Laplace and Bourg-la-Reine stations will be suspended due to construction work between Wednesday, November 1, and Sunday, November 5. Substitution buses will run during this period. Services along other RER B branches, including the line linking Paris and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) will be reduced during this period.

Additionally, the Orlyval rail service will be suspended November 1-4. Replacement shuttles will run between Antony station (RER B) and ORY. The Orlybus (which runs between Paris's Denfert-Rochereau square and ORY) will run extra services.

Context

These disruptions coincide with the Toussaint (All Saints' Day) travel period.

Advice

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach Paris airports during the above period.
