However, airports, seaports, bus stations, and train stations will operate normally. Additionally, local media reported that the sale of alcohol in some bars and clubs will be prohibited on the night of Saturday, October 21, to ensure that individuals are fully alert when answering census questions on Sunday.
The following provisions are in place for those with planned travel on October 22:
- Domestic travel between airports, bus stations, train stations, or ports and residences must be done via authorized vehicles in possession of a “Proof of Registered Person” permit;
- International travelers arriving after 00:00 on census day will not be registered and will receive a “Free Transit Permit” that will only allow travel via an authorized vehicle to a residence or hotel;
- Tourist sites may remain open for international tourists.
