US-Canada: Horizon Air cancels 700 flights for October

Due to a shortage of pilots, Horizon Air is expected to reduce its flight offerings through at least January 2018. More than 700 flights have been canceled for the month of October alone. The airline has said that some affected passengers can be rebooked on Air Alaska or SkyWest Airlines flights.
